ImTOO DVD to iPhone Converter is a DVD ripper for Windows. It can be used to convert DVD movies into files that are playable by the iPhone, and it can also be used to rip the audio track from a DVD movie or audio DVD and save it to audio formats. There is support for a few formats, including, AAC, AIFF, H.264, MPEG-4, M4A, MOV, MP3, MP4, and WAV. In my experience, the best format for playback on the iPhone is H.264. It just allows for great quality and compression.
In terms of design, this application shares the graphical user interface of all ImTOO converters and rippers. It is simply one of the best that I have seen. The thing that I like about it the most is that every single setting needed for the ripping of DVDs can be found in the main window.
When ripping a DVD movie, this ripper can either load the DVD disk itself, or open an IFO or ISO file. At the bottom of the screen are the conversion profiles, and you can change their settings from the right part of the window. At the top are two drop-down menus that allow you to choose the audio and subtitle tracks for your final videos. |
